I've started using "Twitter" (mr le Marquis) much more, and you can be a part of it. On all my Websites you'll find, somewhere (generally at the top of the page) "Twitter Updates"- This gives you links to click on which will take you to interesting things....Try it!

Pre Christmas

Bad quality, yes, but my mobile phone isn't made for "dark light" photos.
Just to give you an idea of the village square - right below me, around Christmas time....!

The town is "economising" - a lot fewer decorating going on this year than normal
Maybe they're thinking about

payin' me a bit more.....

I mean - in Paris, lights on trees is an all year round thing
and even here SOMETIMES the Cafe lights itself up outside of the Christmas period.
But.....Santa Ian isn't too bothered

It's all very "decent" and a bit Christmassy!

It was so......

This dates back to the early 1960's when PC's didn't exist! I enjoyed writing or scribbling even then, and I had this and 3 other 'poems' accepted by an 'Anthology of Poems and Prose' of the epoch. My mother apparently found my works to be those 'of the Devil' and destroyed them! Such was life at the time........

I copy this one from memory, because I quite liked it!
