Just the other day, the Governor of the Bank of England made a serious error, and actually spoke about "recession"....He told us all what yours truly has been saying for years, using that famous thing again - common sense!| (not ahead-right here, right now!) |
Although why the very person who is supposed to be "sorting it out" should tell us this and then disappear from the scene remains a mystery. Maybe he just wanted to build the basis for a bonus for giving excellent results - later he can say - "Told ya so - can I have my bonus now please....?"
Why the politicians - of all parties - should hold such a silence when they are normally so volumous in protests, is something else....After all, traditionally there is enough place for comments....
Let's be kind to them - they have been busy trying to persuade their own followers, after all, at Party Conferences and the like.....
