Remember Marseilles soap into the bed to stop nightly cramps....? I promised to keep you informed! Well - some 12 days (or nights) later, I can report having had no cramps in bed! On the other hand, I must find out if Marseilles soap is available in an acceptable perfume, whilst keeping the same anti-cramp capabilities. Why...? Well, my bed has been singularly empty for the last 12 nights!

So there it is. Smoking in Dutch Cafes/Tearooms/Restaurants/Bars etc will now be outlawed. It doesn't bother me much, but apparantly it seems that the cafes/tearooms etc where "pot" or Cannabis is authorised will NOT be affected by this law - THERE you can carry on puffing! I haven't figured out if you can only puff Cannabis there, and if you puff tobacco in the same places whether you can be arrested or what. After all - you'd be illegal, wouldn't you - just tobacco....? Don't know why they don't produce their own opium, with all the tulips around. Maybe they do! That way, they could have another law with special bars and things to go into for a quick fix! And people wonder what "double-dutch" is! Great place for the "missionaries" from the Protestant religions to go to, but they are all too busy in the Java peninsula - saving heathens!
