Strange things-or commercial pride...?
For many years I've used, and been very happy with a free programme "AVG" anti-virus. We've all got to have one, because of those little people with no intelligence, except of a destructive nature, and their little bugs (which is why those people are called "buggers"). I searched for, and thought I'd found, the best and LEAST intrusive of the free programmes, with AVG Free . Image by linkalicante via Flickr Well - for years I had, but just recently, I've been having rather large problems with this programme, slowing down the PC , signalling updates as "n/a" (if it updated at all), wild starting up of the "Scan" (which on my PC takes up to 6 hours!) - ignoring completely my setting of "disable this task" - no reaction to the command of "stop all scans" and generally "buggering" me about! I'd also noticed a different approach from AVG Free, a more agressive form of marketing , to get you to buy the...
