Some people are nasty people....!

I know that honesty is the best policy, particularly on the Internet...so - before somebody thinks they've made a great discovery or even tries "menacing" me with the things, I felt that it would be better to inform you, myself, about the existence of these pictures. Somebody thought it would be "amusing" to put some intimate photos of mr. le Marquis (iwmpop) onto the Internet. I inform you herewith, that thes nude photos were taken WITHOUT my permission, and were also published without my permission. There will be punitive action taken in the near future,  So none of you are surprised by possible further publications, I advise you to follow this link:    https://docs.google.com/View?id=dchktwkh_2860gn7xckww (or just click on the title above) Thank you for your understanding.  ********** iwmpop (mr le marquis)   -    Vauvert, France   -    March 2011

Updating.....maybe....

It never ceases to amaze me this system I have installed for a few months. "UBUNTU" - free of charge and with everything 3 or 4 times over that Windows has. This is the current opening screen shot now.... ..simple - as you can see, the old ones were kinda more amusing - but distracting  and there are a couple of things that just never cease to amaze me. Yesterday was a perfect example. I knew that Windows had updates to be installed, that Mozilla had brought out the new Firefox and various other things, so I had to boot up my 2nd computer, running on WIN XP Pro SP3 (otherwise you won't get the updates) and sure enough, there they were - waiting for me! Now Windows updates always are a pain, and I recall a certain gentleman's statement when dealing with the subject of " Linux " in general - he sounded worried.. ..and has every right to. In any case, I started to install the one and only update available, and an hour later....it was still going! Of cour

Travelling around again....

Number two in a small series of tips and ideas from the area of France I live in. Having lived in a small place called "Meze" which is situated between Beziers and Montpellier , I though we could have a little trip up the main road between these two places. Starting at BEZIERS....  probably already know by many as the point of starting the torture of a holiday on the " Canal du Midi " in the rented houseboat. Undoubtedly an adventure, it is best to choose carefully the timing of your holiday, if you can. The Canal is most agreeable - always assuming you can navigate it, not always the case in the height of the season, and you could end up spending more time queuing up at one of the numerous "locks" than actually carefree drifting! Another suggestion is that you don't really have to clean the bicycles that come with the houseboats...although that's what I always remark - every year!  Hundreds of Tourists all cleaning the bikes...in the baking

"Blog this" doesn't function.

Problem is - it doesn't do this: "Click the Continue button. A Blogger editor page will open displaying your photos on an HTML page." Instead it goes to the Blogger Dashboard page and you can't do anything from there! in reference to: Using 'Blog This' : Blogger - Picasa Help ( view on Google Sidewiki )

Change of plans.......

Now - if my memory serves me correctly, and at my age that isn't necessarily the case, it's just about 3-4 months ago that we heard all about "drastic - savage economy cuts in the British budget ". First of all - get rid of all those  airyplanes that are just sitting around doing nothing....then we can get rid of nearly all of those guys who don't fly them, but just parade around,  and since we've got rid of them,  we don't need the ground crews, who only eat the food. That means in turn that we don't need all the Civil Servants who administer the things, and we don't need the material they all eat and drink,  wear and use in daily function. We won't need   these any more...you'll all be able to stay at home with your wives and children and have a peaceful quiet life, full of pride....! So - dearly beloved Co-citizens, we'll get rid of soldiers and wars and stuff you don't like to talk about -  We'll save a few million, m

The world is mad, so here's some sanity......

It's just getting madder and madder....everywhere!  Government's sending demands for double tax payments, Electricity companies who can't explain their own bills, Water companies who recommend running the precious expensive product down the sink because the first few $$$$/Euros/GBP worth may be contaminated.....Politicians totally incapable with no idea what to do anywhere....others making hay while the sun shines...people dying all over the place while a few "upper nobs" enjoy themselves and complain that they still haven't got enough....Religions that caused the whole confusion and hatred and indifference and inequality..... So - Here are a few images to show what is needed......... *************** A bit of peace and quiet in nature - Wonder how the Taxman classes this - is it work? Did the Heron pay the purchase tax....Can he even eat the fish or did it come from polluted waters? How about some peace  and quiet in an Oasis - somewhere in the Libya
