I'm not too sure that we're finished hearing new headlines, certainly from Japan, and if I lived on the Pacific coast side of the USA , I'd be jumping up at any noises in or around the house. It seems to be in the nature of people, even here in France - not particularly earthquake threatened, to build on risky places, take the chance and then wonder what went wrong. Some places it's difficult not to - like Japan - where it seems that the whole country is at risk - all the time. Of course, there are those people who insist that all this is " God 's revenge for the IInd World War atrocities" - they are just plain maniacs. Hey, boys and girls.....it's cold...! How about a little trip around looking at what happened over the years of sunshine...from Brazil to Europe....from the point of view of some of my " Picasa Web Albums " colleagues...These could warm the cockles of your heart...... ...starting in North Africa ....from Sophie & Lionel....  in warm climes.... Back to France ..... ...in Summer...and back to North Africa .....in Spring - when already everybody is looking just for shade and cool..... Then even sunbathing on the rooftops of Vauvert , France.... Imagine...people in shorts and vests...... In the sunshine - warm sunshine.... Never mind....it'll be back soon - really soon....!
