The first nuclear disasters were probably the two nuclear bombs at the end of World War Two , dropped on Japan by American forces ...... The differences are enormous. In the case of the first in Japan, there was no doubt about cause, nor of responsability. The fact that the responsables were in a wartime stand-by mode supposedly relieves them of any charges of crime against humanity . It's a question of opinion. The second, at   Tschernobyl is totally different. Civilian responsability was, and still is being hidden. The figures of dead, injured and ongoing sufferers is not even known, and no Government is terribly interested in finding out!
