New service on Google mail (G-mail)

If you are a devoted user (like me) of G-mail, then you have probably noticed a new service in the "Spam" box. Those spam messages showing "me" as sender (although you've never sent a similar message) are now headed with the following text: This message was likely forged and did not originate from your account. Learn More OK - it's not enormously important, but it's nice to know that someone (in this case Google) are watching out for these Spam contents. In fact it appears that Google have started an offensive against these time wasters. Needless to repeat that you should NEVER open any of the links in spam messages, unless you're certain you know where it is going to take you! Even better, pass the message through your Anti-Virus checker BEFORE going anywhere! There is another message which occasionally shows as well, in red, saying that "This mail is probably NOT from who it says it is - only open if you are sure it is valid - use your AV to ...

Have you ever noticed....?

If you are a Google "g-mail" user, you may not have noticed a few things on the various pages. If you're NOT a g-mail user then you can only be pitied, and I'm sorry for you! Here are a couple of interesting little things: (click on the images to see real size) This is the SPAM box, enormously effective, and at the top (in green) Google give you various recipes you can make with "SPAM" - the meaty version! This one is the "TRASH" (real English = Rubbish) where your already read mail can end up-if you wish. Here, at the top (again in green), Google give you various "recycling" tips! And this is your ""INBOX" - you start off with over 6,000MB's of space, and it grows the longer you have your account! Mine is now almost 8,000MB's...!
