Modern....Course I am....!

Now - look.... I may be an old fogey, as the lined-up queue of young ladies in front of my main door witness, but.....I inform myself - in particular on what those young things are getting up to! I mean - they know the basics, I know the "advanced" techniques.....! Normal - I'm a Marquis! Doesn't stop me from finding out - from a band of cronies........ (With many thanks to the young - and old in Brittany - and to "Urban Dictionary" who allow us to participate, if we want to, in their mystifying world) Won't stop me from being critical of their lack of expression in normal language - I'm afraid, but thanks all the same, at least I can start trying to understand what they're on about.....! Besides, (and I'll let you into a secret) as an old man, you can "allow - permit" yourself certain things, for which you would normally end up in gaol/jail! "WTF"......"LMAO".... "LOL"..... Old stuff never goes away...it just hides

First published (I think) around 2002 or 2003, I thought it was time to look again....and listen to the music. ******* You can see more in "Archives" if you search, or on "You Tube under "iwmpop" or "mrlemarquis". If you're on "Facebook" go to "Ian Mitchell" and you'll find some others as well.

Know the area......?

This is "C-Cleaner". It originally was called "Crap Cleaner", but I suppose they got some complaints, although that's what it actually does! I don't know why I've never told you about it before, although there has been a link to download it on my sites and Blogs for years. Firstly - it's for FREE - FREE - FREE! (Although you can make a donation if you want to). Secondly - what does it do? What the name says! It'll clean up Browser caches, saving lots of HD space, it'll check your Registry for faults and fix them, it'll let you take off unused programmes, doing the same, it'll let you delete old restore point, all except the last one (for safety) and if you've never done that, boy - are you in for a surprise - there are "GO's, GO's, GO's to be saved on your HD! It'll let you control and enable or disable what starts up when you push the boot button...in brief - it'll do almost everything to keep your PC

It's the Village Fete at the moment, ... Message from iwmpop@gmail.com : It's the Village Fete at the moment, has been for the last 6 days, so I (and all the other residents of the quarter) have the right to almost non-stop music, of all types. That doesn't bother me too much, but we've also got the right to racing cars and motor bikes in the narrow little Southern French village "rouelles", one in particular, a guy of "North African" origins, doesn't even live in the quarter, and I'm not even sure he lives in the Town - anywhere. What I do know is that he resembles both physically and visually a gorilla, or a drunken potatoe, and I do know that he is the "calif" of the local drug scene. He arrives in the Village in the evening, then I know we're in for a few shouting and screaming scenes later on. I'm certain his activities ar

I'm not really terribly choosy about who I share a page with on the Web As you can see.....! On the other hand - watch out if you try to trick me.....! No pity spared then.....! And - 'cos my Doctor isn't well, I thought of him when I saw this..... I don't think you need a translation, but just in case: Doctor: "It's not great..." Patient: "Who - Me....?" Doctor: "No - me"..... Patient: "Ah - just for a minute you frightened me...."! Have a nice Weekend....

Simple tip from "World Start".....

I use them all the time - keyboard shortcuts, so I never really thought about it, but for those of you with IE or Firefox etc here is an interesting little snippet. Chrome is something else....! You can sign up to "Worldstart" here as well. Just type the address into your bar... ********** Worldstart Computer Tips 8-13-2010 Alt Key Menu Letters In just about every program you use, you may have noticed that the toolbar at the top (the one with File, Edit, View, etc.) has underlined letters. The “F” in  File  has a little underline the “V” in  View  and so on... Like this: Well, if you press your  Alt  key and a corresponding letter... For example:  Alt+T Poof! The Tools menu opens! So press  Alt+F  for file,  Alt+E  for Edit,  Alt+V for view - anything with an underlined letter should work. I like this method, because after the menu opens I can use the arrow keys to move and select what I want! Give it a try today! ~Andrew Click here to rate thi
