This person is just saying that she CAN (if she wants to) become a 'bridge' for the EU to the USA.
She also said it was not 'unthinkable to do without imports from France.....'
Carrying on, she said 'her job is to get the most favourable conditions in her wheeling and dealing with the EU - FOR BRITAIN....! '
Well, she's not speaking for me.
I also think she has misunderstood the terms and conditions of the Brexit divorce.
It's not what SHE is demanding that counts, but what the others are or will offer.
It's English arrogance once again.
It takes very little for one country in the EU to say 'no' and that particular item is 'bye-bye'.
Imagine if the lady has to go back to her little island with nothing or nearly nothing. 
She doesn't have to accept it of course, but if she doesn't then the whole game starts again!
She would also be obliged to tell 'her' people what agreement she had or hadn't come to. 
Then what? 
A new referendum 'advisory style' to let the 'British' decide whether to accept it or not?
Of course, we could be generous and say it's not all her fault, it was the British who voted.....not the Scottish - nor the N. Irish and few of the Welsh, but the English - yes!
My goodness - hornets have nests, May has something else......
If she wishes to be bosom buddies with a certain Mr Trump, I think she will find out quickly that she cannot be a buddy of anyone in the EU.....
