Uncomfortable things all times of the year.

Now and then it's uncomfortable all the year round......

methinks they're talking too much.....

It's an interesting fact, but right now in Britain, there is more talking going on about the "Euro's" problems than in the Eurozone itself, and that always makes me suspicious, "blind 'em with figures" is a regular strategy, but not normaly figures like these ones: Don't forget, this is each and every taxpayer in the UK - irrespective of how much tax they pay - if at all! This is a link to an American "expert", and frankly with the problems the USA has, Britain's problems become a lot paler.....but the author here is practically saying something I have been thinking for many year....but then - I'm not an expert, I just move around the places concerned, I listen and I look....... http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-1709190/Jim-Rogers-Britain-is-totally-insolvent.html He said the following, interesting phrase...... " He said: 'Greece is insolvent, Portugal has a liquidity problem, Spain has a liquidity probl...

Taking off with a bump.....

Today could be interesting. We could be entertained, right royally, if it wasn't all so clear that just about everybody in Society is on the same cheating game. "Scandals for Dummies".....? Well the real dummies are those who manage to get themselves mixed up in them, particularly those who demand our respect, and expect us to accept that their decisions are not only foolproof, but honourable and to be respected! I'm not sure, but I think that over the last few years, we've been through just about every single area of live that is possible with scandals. Was it always like that....were scandals just better hidden from the general public   and the tears were kept for private purposes and not just to share the fact that the individual was crying because mainly of lost revenues? I don't think so...I think mainly the simple fact is that the whole world, in "leading" posts - in every domain is rotten to the core, and have time only for themselves, oc...

Peanuts are shaped like zeros as well......

161,000,000.00 ........now - let's see if I got that right! Enough zero's....?   Yes....actually a little bit more than that, but who's splitting hairs...? The fact is that "zero" is a very important little digit and even more important as a word. A strange digit and word, because without it, you've got nothing, or almost, and WITH it - well, it's the same..... Some people even say it doesn't exist, so how can anyone "start at zero"....but I suspect that a Scottish couple are more than pleased to see so many "zero's" on a cheque in their name, and are probably looking forward immensely to starting life at zero....  .......well - good luck to them. They will undoubtedly be able to cope with all the new found friends, or those friends who pop up from their old lives, I hope they will be able to cope with a couple of them particularly well - The tax man  and the banker.....although I suspect that the banker and his bank  wi...

Since I was busily sending this to someone else, I thought - there being nothing to hide - that I could equally well publish it on selected Weblogsites.....so here you are! ************** about me. Here are some details on the author of these pages! Born in Paisley in Scotland, in October 1946, the second of three children of a Protestant minister, Ian W. Mitchell had a relatively busy childhood! His parents, forced to follow the call of God, changed often their homes  in Britain, so he had to change, even schools, friends etc. .. ! School (semi-public school in London) was eventually followed by entry into the service of Her Majesty, that is, the British army. For years he was stationed in a place called Detmold in Germany, then Berlin (West) and elsewhere, he was finally able to use his knowledge of the language of Moliere (a French poet and playwright) when his Regiment (Royal Dragoons - later the Blues & Royals) was sent in 1966 to the South of France to the Camp Larza...

You get them...I get hundreds daily. Right now when I find that a British Bank can't make a LEGAL transfer to a French Bank, and that the French Bank needs up to a MONTH to process a UK cheque,      a renowned American insurance company needs something that the American Tax services almost refuse to give before they pay up legally demanded sums of money, this thing made me laugh loudly...I haven't quite lost my sense of humour totally! Wonder if this guy would let me into his secret....? ******* Dear Friend, Greetings to you and your family, I am Mr. Kenneth Munakah the Auditing and Accounting section manager in Banque Regionale de Solidarit Burkina Faso (BRS BANK). I need your urgent assistance in transferring the sum of ($39.5)million to your account within 10 or 14 banking days. This money has been dormant for years in our Bank with out claim. So this is the reason why i contacted you so that the bank can release the money to you as the next of kin to the deceased...

Press 'em and Press 'em so hard that they bust!

..Now, whoever really believed this thing was a serious concern, apart from the Financial bosses, reaping the financial profits of the sensation seeking Great British Public, over their Sunday breakfast and umpteenth cup of tea? Well - now it IS a sensation - it seems. Imagine - this Institution actually hands out awards to people and concerns that it must be fully aware are happily breaking all laws of moral and of the land. Great - but it doesn't stop there! One of the Great British amusement factors is talking about "Banana Republics"...... ...and they seriously  include European neighbours in the description! Well - here are just a few facts about "Banana Republics" and what they are accused of: The idea is that they are - like a lot of fruits, apart from the banana, "rotten to the core"...! Police, Politicians.......... Press, (and not only the current ones)..... Civil Servants........................ Banks  Justice......  just abo...
