Although not the original, this photo resembles enormously the "house-lift" in front of our door! At the time, this chair-lift was the longest in Germany, and a good skier took at least 5-6 minutes to descend from the top to bottom. Certain parts of the slope were left "unprepared" in their natural state, for the adventuresome types.
A confirmed and adjured European.
