Now you'll ALL have seen this short trial video, I'm sure, judging on the feedback I've been getting! Hey folks - I'm a novice, just starting, but learning quick! As one of you said, a perspective Cecile B de Mille II, just don't call me Cecile!
Actually, I've started being on the outlook for my "maiden" production, for the future stars and starlets!
I had an idea that my mate Chippie could be booked for the turning of "Under Deck Adventures of a Ships' Carpenter", but Tinkerbelle (her indoors, remember?) said "NO!" - very firmly, "I'm not having my "him outdoors" getting involved in any more pornographic stuff!"
I even offered to book "Wacky-Backy" and wife as co-stars (which would have been difficult, since those two stand 2 metres above sea-level, and my mate Chippie and Tinker somewhere around "chins at sea-level") but all to no avail, She wouldn't have any of it! I think she was concerned about my mate Chippie's notorious "roving eye"!
I even pointed out that the film epic would be set in a dingy, dark, Ship Carpenter's workshop, and I promised to keep the camera below face height (difficult, as I have explained above), but she wasn't having any of it!
"What would the neighbours think," she said, and I thought, well-the neighbours send their pet pig to garden, and you send your domesticated rats back to them, so there ain't much in the form of "reputations" to be lost there.
No go! She refused, even although I promised her a lovely cocktail or two, together with the use of my Champagne cooling bucket!
There we are - that's what happens when you've got a fairy in the house!
And it could have been so good, with both of them waving their wands around, in front of Cecile's frantic camera! Mind you, you can't get a lot into 3 minutes of film time, although maybe with Chippie, the climax could have been reached!
So - I'm waiting (but NOT with bated breath) for my mate Chippie's FIRST featured Video production, and you'll have to put up with those annoying little videos I churn out (or will do) like Bollywood!
But - I AM getting a bit better - don't you think?
