Heard about another way of earning money on the side, here in France, which may be the better way! Just a little bit illegal, people are selling their Driving Licence "penalty points" (you are allowed to collect a dozen or so, for minor infringements of the law, before being automatically banned, and having to retake your Driving Tests) to people who MUST keep their licences ( for jobs etc). The scam works simply - An ad on the Internet proposes to take your place on the "infringement" notification. In other words, you make an appeal, and declare it wasn't you driving at 300 miles an hour, it was ME!
I'll pick up your penalty points, and your money - The going price is between 500 and 2600 euros PER POINT depending on the circumstances!
The buyer breaks the law, so does the seller, so both can be relatively sure that they will get away with it, because the one criminal won't "denounce" the other criminal.
