...and about time too....!

I got this message the other day, and my immediate reaction was - what the.....!

After all, I accept - like everyone else here in the area -that Winter is a part of life, but....
if somebody could get it right, elsewhere.....
After all, everybody knows that winter and cold weather is that 7 to 10 day period here in Southern France, when you go no-where, do nothing, except eat and drink, crouch in front of the heating, and generally moan! For 7 to 10 days...!
However..... when it starts late October/early November, and even now, late February, it's still going - then something isn't right!
Although - I must say, today I felt the sun, for the first time in 3 months or so, and I've started thinking about when to open all the windows.
My girlfriend is still strictly against such measures, and is pressed firmly against her personal radiator, next to her personal basket....!
Anyway - God - I'll pass the memo on, but in the meantime.........?
