Virus scare: Is the Conficker worm going to unleash an apocalyptic cyber-event on April 1?

I`m not a rumour spreader, and in this case, it may only be scaremongering, but although in the case of the famous millenium bug - we couldn't have done anything anyway (because we had no idea of what COULD have happened), in THIS case we can do something.
CONFICKER - in various forms, is an impressive PC Bug.

If you don't, don't come whimpering and wailing to me, like one of my acquaintances who seems to be having a hard time with PC, Finance in the crisis (he seems to think it's all MY fault) and the insidous suggestion that I have been somehow been "getting" at him via his PC or something similar...!
It would help, naturally, if the guy knew ANYTHING about his own PC and Server etc- quite apart from knowing anything about his "friends".................
Of course his accusations/suggestions are total nonsense, even more than that, but there are Justice Courts that deal with slanderous accusations - I don't know of a Court of Justice that deals with avoiding PC Virus/Bugs and so on - so we're all on our own!
