Show others and use it yourself!

Ever thought - "I'd like a picture of that"?
Then you try the "print screen" button - and nothing happens...!
Well - here's how to do it - quickly and easily (free as well)!
The above is what is called a "SCREENSHOT", useful to transpose what you're actually looking at on your PC screen into a photo you can keep wherever, or send to anyone.
I use them quite often, particularly to illustrate articles, to give directions (together with a link to the page concerned) and importantly - to have proof of certain things that happen in life!
I keep my important documents - Passports, Certificates and so on - not only as individual photos (you can always use the photo if you lose the actual item, to get the serial number of a Passport, for example) but also as a Screensaver, because, that way, I'ver got them all - on just 1 photo!
There are a multitude of uses, and also a multitude of FREE programmes to do it with!
This particular SCREENSHOT is actually one of a Google search to find the programmes!
Careful - because some programmes take a large chunk of space for each photo, up to 5MB's of space, but there are others which only take a few KB's - for the same quality!
There are some which enable you to take a picture of individual parts of the screen, all of the screen, or indeed the whole page!
Up to you to find out which programme is right for you.
If you use one of the programmes, do please use a FREE one - it also encourages the creators to continue their voluntary and great work on the Web -giving us ALL free things, just as good as the payable ones, sometimes (often) even better...!
Have fun!
