Your e-mail was attached to Ticket no:025-1146-1992-750, Serial no:2113- 05,Lucky no:08-11-17-30-32-41bonus no:47,REFNO:BRLFGP2551256/02,You have been Selected for a cash prize of £1,263,584.00(One Million Two Hundred and Sixty- three Thousand, Five Hundred and Eighty-four Pounds Sterling). The Selection process was carried out through random selection in our computerized email selection system(ess) from a database of over 250,000 email addresses Drawn from which you were selected. THE BRITISH NATIONAL LOTTERY is approved by the British Gaming Board. SO - fed up with the nonsense of becoming a millionaire every day, I had a quick search - and this is what I found (again): (click on the title to see the whole story) UK National Lottery Scams: Example: British National Lottery British Gaming Board "Mr Hamilton Reeds", "Mr. Kings Robert", "Sir Steven Smith" Have you received an email from "Mr Hamilton Reeds" at the "British National Lottery - British Gaming Board" telling you that you won the a prize and to contact "Sir Steven Smith" or "Mr. Richard James"? It is a scam. There are only two legal large lotteries in Britain, the National Lottery and the Monday Lottery, anyway, and they do NOT use email to notify winners. Below is a scam email actually received. DO NOT reply to any emails you receive that claim you have won a lottery that you did not enter. They are frauds. You will lose your money. There is no "free lunch"; don't be foolish and believe a scam! We can not say it any more plainly: YOU WILL NOT BE NOTIFIED BY EMAIL BY ANY LEGITIMATE LOTTERY THAT YOU WON A PRIZE.
