Sterling takes a tumble against the euro

BAD news for those relying on sterling income as it has hit a five month low in relation to the euro.

The BBC reports that it was as low as €1.1016, a point not seen since April, but still higher than it

was at the beginning of the year.

The Bank of England's quarterly report blamed the weakening of sterling on foreign investors

turning their backs on UK sterling assets and the need for the UK economy to rebalance.
