This is "C-Cleaner". It originally was called "Crap Cleaner", but I suppose they got some complaints, although that's what it actually does!
I don't know why I've never told you about it before, although there has been a link to download it on my sites and Blogs for years.
Firstly - it's for FREE - FREE - FREE! (Although you can make a donation if you want to).
Secondly - what does it do? What the name says! It'll clean up Browser caches, saving lots of HD space, it'll check your Registry for faults and fix them, it'll let you take off unused programmes, doing the same, it'll let you delete old restore point, all except the last one (for safety) and if you've never done that, boy - are you in for a surprise - there are "GO's, GO's, GO's to be saved on your HD!
It'll let you control and enable or disable what starts up when you push the boot button...in brief - it'll do almost everything to keep your PC in trim. ALL FOR FREE!
A tip- when you're cleaning the Browser Cache, close down your Browsers first, or it will skip them, and - if you want to keep your current passwords, cookies and other personal things, just uncheck the buttons in the cleaning list (on the left hand side) - Even better, just read the info page that comes with it! Go on, and afterwards go back to your "My Computer" button and see how much space you've got back by hovering over "C Disk"....You will be amazed! I use it about once every 3 or 4 days.
