Ladies-Frauen-Femmes......footballers!

  Now I don't know if any of you have been following the ladies in their adventures on the Soccer (footie) field in the current World Championship taking place in Germany right now.
If you haven't been watching, be told you're missing some really good football matches, girlies or not, they rival roughly a 2/3rd division professional Club, BUT they are much more interesting to watch than the top male teams. They haven't been spoilt - yet - by horrendous amounts of money, and they remember that the idea of the sport is to get a round thing into a rectangular thing, a ball into a goal!  Then celebrate........Now if you're not following, and if you're a male, it's probably for one of two reasons - either you're a "macho" or you're a gentleman who doesn't think ladies should be running around doing these kind of things, but there are many guys who think they should- There's even a "Kaiser" amongst them....
Of course the inevitable question of "attractivity" must be answered.
Actually, although - like most males -  aware of the differences between male and female, I must confess that I enjoy watching them primarily for the sport well played, but of course for the attractivity factor as well, neither of which are shown in the photo!
I've never been too much a fan of watching a dozen or so guys kissing and cuddling around the place, somehow it seems more reasonable if the girlies do it!..Don't get it wrong, there IS less physical contact than with the men's game, but now and then, it gets "rough" - I suppose ladies get bad-tempered now and then as well........and then it hurts!
The history of Lady's soccer is both amusing and ridiculous, and I propose to give you a few examples in later articles, so stay tuned - between Woman's World Championship Football Matches...Enjoy...they do!
