fun time.....

 Yippee, soon it's voting time here in France. Local Elections and later (I think) European ones.
Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party, but which one? The Socialists  are out every Saturday at the market, giving away red roses, but only to the women....that's discrimination! Why can't I have one...?
I've got one of these  but I want a rose...
In any case, the ladies only eat them.....
In France there are quite a number of parties, in fact almost as many as cheeses produced  but only one gives something away!
Maybe a lump of cheese COULD sway my judgement.....with a piece of bread, of course.
Women in politics in France probably started with this one (Marianne) but there have been a few since then! Nowadays she adorns the basic French postal stamp.
 Here are relatively up to date stats, and this tells a lot more  Thing is - it scares the hell out of other women like wives, as well as male politicians....
Anyway - I'll go to the town hall and vote, not tellin' ya who for though.....!
 Guess she'll have to do the cooking on those 2 Sundays!
