Some Characters I've met......

Image
Rather like this!  This is an article dedicated to some of the characters I have met in my life. The first was in Bolton, Lancashire, his name was 'Barnes' forename 'Frank' (I'm pretty sure). This man was an inventor! Despite being mocked often by other members of the Church of which my father was the Minister and of which he was a 'member of the Board', he spent every second of his time 'inventing' things! From a certain age, when you have had no contact for many years, it can be very difficult, and sometimes very sad - you must accept that the old friend - is no more. That's what is called 'life'. All I hope is that my voice from the past and occasional contacts give as much pleasure as I get from receiving theirs. In the s...
