A la Français.....
I'd like to give some of you some information about the French Elections coming up very shortly.

The first two placed will advance to the vote against each other the following Sunday.
Whover of the two gets more than 50% will be elected President of the Republique!
It's really as simple as that, but not so easy.....
The French people are fed up with 'established' politicians stealing, misleading, lying - so much so that they don't know WHO to vote for - if at all.
That is dangerous because it will give more of the vote to the Extremists FN (National Front) - their supporters will vote!
These are the 3 main ones, but in all there will be 11 candidates on the first Sunday Vote.

Emmanuel Macron (*) is in NO Party, but is now the hope to stand and win against:
Marine LePen (+) Extreme Right 'Front Nationale' - Her supporters will ALWAYS vote for her and are a mixture of Neo-Nazis, Criminals and totally confused French people. She wishes to take France out of the EU Market and go back to the currency 'FF' (French Franc) - This, quite frankly is a situation similar to the 'TRUMP' situation in the USA except that there are simpler safeguards in the French System than in that of the USA.
Francois Fillon (#) Central Right..... is a possibility, but he has bathed himself in scandal in the last 1-2 months with the employment of his Welsh born wife as 'assistant' (she didn't even have a security pass to get into the Parliament building) to the tune of 400,000 euros!
Same thing with his 2 children, employed in holiday jobs by him to the tune of 60,000 euros, and various broken laws such as accepting gifts (notably custom made suits at 11,000 euros!)
All of these things are expressly forbidden by French Law. He is still standing as President and there have been other examples in French history, notably
Valéry Giscard d'Estaing
who was actually elected President whilst on charges very similar!

There are also others, so go see yourselves.
Because of all these examples it is extremely difficult to prognose any winner. Even Marine LePen has been charged by the European Parliament of 'abuse and misuse of Public Funds'
All in all, Politics is a filthy business not for honest citizens.......
