I don't think for one moment that people of my age are even slightly surprised by the events in what is euphamistically called This "honourable" house, and by the machinations of the "honourable" members! We all knew that things were not "Persil" white, and we knew that many years ago. The only surprise for us now, is the extraordinary naivety and ignorance being shown by the honourable Gentlemen (and Ladies) in their attempts to get their chestnuts back out of the fire! Maybe it isn't naive or ignorance, simply another sign of the total alienation from a population responsable for voting, for putting people into surroundings where they don't ever really see REAL people, in daily problematics, trying to deal with things.
