It's that time again - No mail, the postman is in his vineyard picking the grapes! I popped down to the Caves Cooperative this morning, to have a look, imbibe the odours, and take some photos for you.
It's all so mechanised nowadays, so much so that actual human pickers are rare, and nobody tramps on the grapes with bare feet anymore - maybe that's why there is less taste! Each photo will have it's own little history, and there are 13 or 14 of 'em, so bring lots of time with you. This weekend, here, is again HOT - 34C and I am one who will NOT be out in the vineyards!!
