More modern time stories!

At this age, they haven't started getting crafty,or "rusée" as the French say (meaning "cunning"). It wasn't long ago that I presented you all with an account of a system developed by my neighbours youngish (22 years old) son.
Here's another one - this time it all has to do with using "modern" techiques against "older" parents, who are not aware of what can be done!
Now- there's this family who live in the country, and whose son wants an Internet account, but Dad says "No!"
Well, time passes, and finally sonny boy goes out to work, but stays at home with his parents and other brothers - it's cheaper for all concerned, 'cos they don't pay rent, and don't have to present themselves at table when it's time to eat, they just come down whenever, and raid the fridge. They don't imagine ever doing shopping, apart from their own (consumed mainly in the bedroom) pizzas and burgers etc!
They are only present at table when it's a special event, and when their "birthday envelope" from Auntie/Uncle etc is due! During these rare appearances, they are conspicous by their capability of eating everything that's good and expensive, and which they would never buy, even if they ever did any shopping!
Now-sonny boy is "grown up" has his own money, and he proposes to his father that he (the son) will take an Internet Account, and pay for it, which will give not only the Internet, but also free telephone calls from the family telephone, for everybody. He points out that Dad will no longer have to pay the National Telephone Company monthly subscription fee as well as having the free calls!
Dad is impressed, and says - "OK, my son and probable heir, go to it!" and is totally satisfied with the upbringing given to said sonny boy!
Time passes, and finally everything is installed - Sonnyboy can steal music from the Internet, can log in to all sorts of "forbidden" fruits, etc......
BUT.... Dad (who in between times has promised to pay sonny boy the amount he paid before for the National Telephone Subscription, not wanting to "profit" from his boy's creativity) has only one problem. The Telephone won't work! Sometimes it works, mainly it cuts him off when he's telephoning, and often it simply doesn't work!
Dad has his doubts, but it's too late, a contract has been signed by sonny boy for Dad's telephone line, for a minimum of 1 year!
Now - sonnyboy is OK. He's got his Internet, and he uses mainly his mobile phone anyway!
So there we are - Dad can't phone, or receive calls, and is paying the same as before!
What Dad doesn't know (not being educated in Computers and the like) is that sonny boy can still telephone, free of charge, by simply using the Computer and the programme supplied by his Internet providor! Dad is totally unaware of this fact, and it isn't really in sonny boy's interest to tell him, because effectively, sonny boy has taken over Dad and the Families' fixed telephone line.
He can phone, and receive calls, but nobody else can, without asking sonnyboy to use sonnyboy's Computer, which they don't understand anyway!
It isn't in sonnyboy's interest either to simply repass the repair programme for the normal telephone, supplied free of charge by the Providor!
And so it will stay, undoubtedly, until I, or somebody else, informs Dad of the situation! Another "modern day life story", and they want me to pay more in local rates for the "poor adolescents"!
A little of this, years ago, would have solved the problem!
