After a few 'unwanted and unnecessary e-mails I'm sorry, but to place a comment you will now have to become a 'FOLLOWER" - People can be and are nasty creatures.
At the bottom of this Blog I've put 4 links - on the right hand side - They will take you to various news sites from various countries. Keep up to date.....! The same links are just below.
Due to poor health, I have decided to use this site mainly, and the site below for some of my postings....just click on it and choose the article to read from the list!
I'm to be found on 'Facebook' as 'Ian Mitchell' and......
I've started using "Twitter" (mr le Marquis) much more, and you can be a part of it. On all my Websites you'll find, somewhere (generally at the top of the page) "Twitter Updates"- This gives you links to click on which will take you to interesting things....Try it!
This site is OPTIMIZED for use with Google Chrome. It may be that users of Internet Explorer will have difficulties to read the text - change to Chrome or Firefox - they're better and safer anyway.

Hope sprang!

England Hope sprang, and so long as there were no other players on the field, everything went wellDutch Soccer As soon as the opponents turned up, however, it sprung did this hope - and will rest eternal! Best thing to do in UK and Holland is to let the Soccer Girl have a go - they couldn't do worse!

Saying such a thing is quite couragous from me - in view of the fact that I'm awaiting the visit of honourable citizens from both of those countries, very shortly, but the truth must out!

Caveman CavewomanEff and Ron will be so upset that the lads didn't make it, but Eff will console Ron, and be happy that she can stay home now, and watch the TV! Even if there were slight problems in the cricket as well (5 - 0 is more like a football score)Cricket

DutchWacky-backy and his wife DutchJe Hebt M'n Hart Gebroken together with their 2 (not een) Dutch will take it for granted that Holland went out earlier, they wanted to go on holiday anyway!!

So there we are - almost all over, just me and myself Old Manwho, sandwiched between country of residenceFrance and country which pays meGermany (albeit very little!), will try to ignore whoever wins!

So - wishing you all "Bonne Route" + "Bonne Vacances" I shall return to the sweltering heat (around 38C - DAY and NIGHT!)
