Hope sprang!
Hope sprang, and so long as there were no other players on the field, everything went well As soon as the opponents turned up, however, it sprung did this hope - and will rest eternal! Best thing to do in UK and Holland is to let the have a go - they couldn't do worse!
Saying such a thing is quite couragous from me - in view of the fact that I'm awaiting the visit of honourable citizens from both of those countries, very shortly, but the truth must out!
Eff and Ron will be so upset that the lads didn't make it, but Eff will console Ron, and be happy that she can stay home now, and watch the TV! Even if there were slight problems in the cricket as well (5 - 0 is more like a football score)
Wacky-backy and his wife together with their 2 (not een) will take it for granted that Holland went out earlier, they wanted to go on holiday anyway!!
So there we are - almost all over, just me and myself who, sandwiched between country of residence and country which pays me (albeit very little!), will try to ignore whoever wins!
So - wishing you all "Bonne Route" + "Bonne Vacances" I shall return to the sweltering heat (around 38C - DAY and NIGHT!)
