No trouble posting your photos-it's easy, no problem for others to copy and/or print them, no hassle - ALL FREE again. I've had the system installed for ages, but just never used it, until I found out that I could use it to pass photos and little spots to my Blogspots! It is really so much easier, but just doesn't take smiley's and can only take a certain amount of text - For you and Wacky-Backy, great to transfer your photos. I'll give you the address in a private e-mail later on!

All is clear. I tried, and once again the message, but no photo. Maybe that is the carrot dangled with the "add-on" to Blog, offered by Google. I'm still not going out to buy WIN 2000 or more recent. Jeeez - I can't even get my PC to accept "XP" never mind even more expensive things - this is a cheap PC, but a good one, and I am very attached! Strange, strange - When I'm writing about Google and Microsoft, the screen goes almost blank - leaving only the 3 little smilies at the bottom! Anyway, what I was saying was that I thought google were giving Microsoft a helping hand to sell more recent Windows programmes. Lots of the "add-ons" offered free by Google are not usable on WIN 98 se or not. They are not even usable on XP etc, the lowest form of Windows usable is Windows 2000! Well - I'm going to run out and but it imm ediately! Wonder how long it will be before these blogspots will be payable? At that moment, folks, mr le marquis will demise! I'm going to try and send this straight away, before someone at Google or Microsoft reads it! If you see strange little things coming up on this blogspot, it's because mr le Marquis is trying to beat some other minnows in the PC business like: Microsoft No-no! Google

3 cheers Hey folks, I got my tool message editor back! Doesn't mean a lot to you, I guess, but to me it saves one hell of a lot of time! Can go back to work - hurra 3 times! To celebrate, I'm going to pass through the photos I meant to pass on the last spot "Witches and Wizard orientated" - enjoy them! Must write my nieces' "personal letter" - apparantly she feels snubbed at being treated like one of the rabble, and having to log into this WONDERFUL blogsite! WONDERFUL I said! These are the types of witches that own gardens and get on my nelly! The've been following me all my life! I'd love to have a witch like the following following me for a while instead! I did say only ONE of them! Here are some of us male versions: WIZARDS - always useful, polite, generous, handsome etc, etc, etc. Obviously of a high intelligence factor, and not likely to get involved with foregoing witches. SO WHAT WENT WRONG? WHAT WENT WRONG? Never mind - the spells ...

Can it really be the end of it? I did have in mind to tell the full story of "my career as gardener" but upon reflection, I would never be able to do it full justice, so suffice it to say - I'm out, my car's out, and I'm sleeping nights! Strange thing though - since then, everytime I want to write something about it on Blogger, there is some problem or other - this time it's the toolbar which enables me to put the photos I had collected (to prove my point about witches and wizards) onto this page! Once upon a time there was a mr le Marquis and a little old lady. So, people have told me, is the fashion that fairy tales start off. Well, I think she is/was a witch, this little old lady, so maybe I'm on the right track. Should you wonder why this spot is marked (2) in the title, it's because the first one just suddenly disappeared, and in spite of all the mod coms of Google, could not be recuperated. The first message is there, I see it for about 15 seconds, and then "bye-bye". What is even stranger, is that I can't even delete the thing (as it is still shown on the "created" page as a draft, but it refuses to be deleted! Is this witchery? !!!!!!!!!!!! Anyway, I'm going to publish this - quick - before it disappears as well! If the 1st one turns up and publishes itself, you know what it's all about now! If it doesn't. then I'll have to start all over later on! In the meantime, all you drivers out there, if you see a little old lady c...

As I promised you, here is MY account of the recent events in my so problem filled existence. (the photo below shows idyllic scenes!! Read on,read on!) It all started, really, from the action of an over-zealous, or maybe racist local policeman, who decided that my car (German registered) and another one parked nearby (Luxembourg registered) had been sitting too long on "his" parking place. According to him 7 days, without moving, therefore a 60eu fine imposed. As I tried to point out to him, this was nonsense, I had moved my car frequently to go shopping etc, and I didn't beleive for one instant that he and his colleagues has been surveilling my car 7 days a week, 24hrs a day, and if they had been, then they should be ashamed that they hadn't even seen the burglars of the last few days! I classed them (the local police) as idiots and racists, idiots because they only fined foreign registered cars, possibly tourists who brought in the money, and racists because it was...

(this one is for my niece who I hope still pops-in now and then! Slowly back to normal, folks! I have been informed that photos nr 2 and 7 are in a "delayed mail" situation, but never mind, you probably all have what you wanted anyway. With all the time now available to me, I will start now with an account of mr le Marquis - gardener/jardinier. The title may throw you - but persevere-all will be made clear! NO! NO! NO! never again -thanks to Mr le Marquis du Galipot!! Everyone is STILL on holiday, except mr le Marquis! He still can't afford it, and has been waiting in vain for your subscription cheques/postal orders/card payments etc! SO: He has decided from after holiday times (around October 2005) a new and attractive monthly feature will make it's appearance on these pages. "La cuisine du Marquis" will appear roughly once a month, and will take the form of a 4 course meal, prepared and eaten by Mr. le Marquis during the same period, and will explain (in simple terms) how to do it - will give tips to shorten the time necessary (Mr le Marquis doesn't use conserves, but will give you all tips on how to do so in the recipes concerned). A shopping list, ideas for adapting to your "part of the world" style of cookery, wines and aperos which go well, and the PRICES of items (HERE IN FRANCE) so you can compare a little. I hope it may be amusing and interesting...
